This public education campaign began when an Ohio team responsible for addressing the needs of local young people at Stark County Mental Health & Addiction Recovery (StarkMHAR) was looking for innovative ways to engage and educate middle and high school students.
Let’s Talk About It: A Graphic Guide To Mental Health was created to provide knowledge and resources for students to help them be healthier and more resilient. The comic’s warm and playful style was designed to help destigmatize the conversation around mental health.
With additional support of the Highline Public Schools in King County, WA, the book was translated into Spanish.
